We’ve always dreamed big but this season is different - we want to give back to our community and use our platform to help in the revitalization efforts in downtown Santa Barbara. We will be renting out a storefront in downtown Santa Barbara in fall 2019 to create a community space that will showcase local artists both visual and performing to create something different. And for that, we need your help.
You are cordially invited to our fifth season fundraiser, details to come. Can’t make it? Consider donating to our Indiegogo campaign HERE.

Our goal is to do our part to revitalize the empty storefronts on State Street by renting one out the week of October 12th. Our goal for that week is to feature local artists, musicians, dancers, and non-profits. If the role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible, we believe that artists should be at the revolution’s forefront - and the revitalization of State Street is a deeply needed movement towards change in our city.
Our work, as SELAH, has never been just about us. We believe in making dance accessible and relatable to all people, especially in a city that has supported us for the past five years. Santa Barbara has become an amazing hub for dance on the West Coast and we are honored to be a part of it, alongside artists and organizations with so many different interests, influences, and histories. Our goal with this event is to create an experience in which all artists can take part and everyone in Santa Barbara is welcome. We are partnering with many local artists and organizations alike to bring this vision to life.
We are excited to pour wine, beer, and cocktails made by local companies.
SELAH will perform some of our current season repertoire in the space.
